Meet Louise…

I'm Louise, co-founder of Fleur Social.

I've been in love with flowers for over 30 years. I walked into a friend's flower shop in 1997, and within minutes, I knew I'd found my future. The colours, the textures, the scent — it was all so mind-blowing. I spent an hour or two in the shop that day, catching up and watching her hands move as she shaped flowers into the most beautiful bouquets and arrangements. Customers came and went, always leaving with a smile. I wanted some of that, I thought, so I started working for her on Saturdays, just to check it wasn't a fleeting fantasy.

It wasn't.

Some time later, she and her husband moved out of London, and I jumped at the chance to take over the shop. Just like that, I was a business owner and a florist. I learned mostly on the job, found my own style, and discovered an even deeper passion for flowers wandering the aisles of Covent Garden flower market at crazy o'clock.

That was the start of my flower journey.

I moved around Ealing with the business over the years — a bigger shop, then a high street shop — and ran a beautiful business with some lovely staff for 20 years.

A few years ago, I decided I wanted a little more work-life balance, so I went freelance. I now work from home and a variety of studios, designing bouquets and arrangements for weddings and events, and running workshops — sharing everything I've learned along the way.

Fleur Social is where that next chapter lives.

Meet Suzanne…

Hi, I'm Suzanne, co-founder of Fleur Social.

After more than 40 years in London's creative industries, I finally took the leap to build something that brings together everything I love: creativity, community, and connection.

My career began in hairdressing, where I spent decades running training academies, styling editorial shoots, working backstage at events, and teaching the next generation of stylists in some of the West End's most prestigious salons. But flowers were never far away — I was always finding ways to weave the two creative worlds together.

In 2020, I decided to follow that thread properly and return to my first love. Stepping away from hairdressing gave me the space to fully immerse myself in floral design, and what started as a career change soon became something bigger: a chance to build a business rooted in beauty, collaboration, and bringing people together.

Today, Fleur Social is the result of that journey — a place where creativity flourishes, connections are made, and flowers inspire memorable experiences.
